Gemma Rolls Bentley has worked for two decades to champion diversity, as a curator and creative consultant, in addition to teaching. She has published: “Art Essentials: Queer Art” (co-authored with Mollie E. Barnes–Thames & Hudson), and “Queer Art; From Canvas to Club and the Spaces Between” (2024–Frances Lincoln). Exhibition mentioned: “Sea State” co-curated with Simon Oldfield at Wolterton Hall.
E-J Scott is a curator, cultural producer, Senior Lecturer at Central Saint Martins (UAL) whose practice recenters traditionally marginalised communities’ stories in museums via practices based on intervention and participation, such as oral history, festivals, co-curation and collections. They founded the Museum of Transology in 2014, now the largest collection of material culture representing trans lives in the world (Bishopsgate Institute, London).
Cardion Arts is a not-for-profit organisation providing a platform for LGBTQIA+ artists, through exhibitions and events, striving to nurture and support them in physical and digital spaces engaging and educational, celebrating queer joy with the community and diverse audiences.
